SmithFly is growing!  If you've called in an order or maybe even stopped by to see some of this stuff in person you may have met one of our team members. We have been slowly adding new team members to keep up with orders and production.  Jules ConnerJules is SmithFly's office manager and guru of all things detail oriented. She has a deep level of experience  from her time managing the front of house and back of house operations at an electrical and lighting business. Early Season Pike with Norbert Renaud and his Big Shoals Raft

We shipped a Big Shoals with the three piece frame option over to Norbert Renaud in Ireland last year. Recently he got it out for it's first run of the season and it looks like the early season pike action is hating up in .   He has a nice little nugget on the two glass ten weights that I sampled in Louisiana with the Fiberglass Manifesto. I agree with Norbert's assessments on those rods completely. Both the Echo Bad Ass glass and the Epic Bandit 10wts are worthy rods and should have a place among any serious big fish angler's arsenal. Oh yeah and the video is pretty bad ass too.

3 Miracles in the Marsh

  My mother always says — things happen in threes. The part of me that appreciates behavioral economics assumes that these things are usually confirmation bias. Basically, we only see the things that actually happen in threes while we ignore the things that don't. Whatever, apparently enough people have identified things happening in threes to make it into a thing, and I respect that.
